Savage has built his reputation around producing restrained, mineral-driven wines from vineyards exposed to cooling coastal influences, with granite soils playing an important role in his sourcing philosophy.

The Savage White has become one of the estate's benchmark wines, demonstrating that Sauvignon Blanc can produce serious, textured and age-worthy South African white wine when combined with S*millon and thoughtful oak maturation. The style is a world away from simple, overtly tropical Sauvignon Blanc.

Expect citrus, stone fruit, herbs and saline minerality, supported by the waxy texture and depth of S*millon and subtle maturation in oak.
